I like them but the leg opening on the size 16 is too big.
I don't know if the dimensions on the leg opening at hem jumps up on a size 16 or not; but if that is the case, please take note of this. When I button the leg to roll up on one side; the other side sags and it's un complimentary. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

poor fit
I guess I am not the right shape for these pants. The waist was too big, & the butt/thighs were snug. I would have been willing to shorten them a few inches, but the overall fit was off. For $89, they should look great.

I Wanted to Like Them
I was excited to receive the shorts and opened the box immediately, lovely fabric. I discovered the zipper was broken when I tried them on. It took a lot of wiggling & the better part of an hour to get out of the shorts!

nice fabric, but......
I really love the color of these shorts and the fabric.However, I was disappointed by the super wide cut of the leg .They look great from the side view,but very awkward from the front. I decided to return them. I hope next year Poetry will have a short like these but with a slimmer leg for a more flattering look.

Not for short people
Both items, size 10, I assumed comparable to American size 2, were baggy in the waist and hips. The shorts fell way below my knees and the slacks were impossibly big all over. A smaller size would not have made much difference, as both items were so oversized. These items with this drapey sort of fit were not designed for someone under Model height. I am just under 5'4" and weigh 115. How about some styles in petite proportions?

Too large, had to return
Sadly, the smallest size was too large for me; I could pull them off without unsnapping. But that's pretty common; I wear 00 to 2, depending on how the company sizes their clothes. (In the UK jeans my husband brings back from London, 25 is the best size, but I can squeeze into a 24, too.)

Not recommended
the leg is too wide in the bottom, bought a size 14, was way too big, exchanged for a size 12, way too small. I don't ubderstand that there is a 2 inch difference in the waist between size 12 and 14. I purchased 5 and they all have to be returned. If they would be a good fit, I would love to have them

dress shorts
Very well made, these shorts are comfortable. I'm 5' 7" and they fall to the knee. I think that if you are shorter, they may not work. I teach and think I can wear them to work if I wear a dress shirt. They have a culotte-feel to them since the legs are loose and wide. You can button them up to wear shorter, but I am not sure I would wear them like that.
