Worth The Wait!

You'll think I'm crazy
... and you'd be correct! I am crazy for this vest! I love it so much I am having it duplicated in chain maille! I own it now in four colors and every one is a dream, dressing up jeans and short skirts, looking sophisticated with trousers and over long dresses. It looks fabulous with simple jewelry and makes ordinary tanks and camisoles pull together elegantly?I especially love a contrasting color tank underneath. The knit is fragile, and I have snagged all of mine now, but I push the loose thread to the inside and look none the worse for wear?also, if you don't want shrinkage, you really must handwash (pssst! I'll tell you a secret: the knit stretches out over time, and I put mine in a lingerie bag in the washer on cool water and gentle cycle, and it tightened up a bit and looks just fine?but NO DRYER!). This is easily the most versatile piece in my wardrobe, andI'll be wearing them fall and winter, too, just because I can't give them up!

Just what I wanted
This vest is everything I was looking for: simple, beautiful, has a lovely drape, is a gorgeous color, and has a modest-yet-sexy fit. It looks great over tanks and tees, with pants or skirts, and makes all my outfits come together. I liked it so much, I got a second color, and will likely buy a third, just so I can live in these all summer and into autumn!
