Escape to the sea

A story that celebrates the coming of summer. Colour and prints are inspired by the Mediterranean landscape with its warm earth tones, free-ranging wildflowers and dramatic stonework. Abstract expressionist artist Anthony Daley captures this uplifting essence with his mastery of colour and textured layers of paint, inspiring this story of light layers, statement sleeves and open weaves. Colours are fresh and stimulating – apricot, cobalt blue, ink, sun bleached yellow and Tuscan orange. Fabrics are garment dyed and laundered whilst yarns are knitted out of gauge to create deliberately loose stitches for a breezily cool edge.
