This is a lovely day dress in EcoVero viscose and linen. With a bell-shaped silhouette that is generous and full but tapers very slightly to the hem with a soft rolled collar and three-quarter length sleeves.

One of our favourite fabrics, made from environmentally friendly ECOVERO™ and linen. It is a weighty fabric with good drape and an interesting matte texture as a result of the diamond weave. The weight and drape of the fabric make it a good choice for a wide range of styles, particularly those with pleats and tucks. The supplier we use to make all the styles in this fabric is very precise and makes garments of the highest quality. The combination of the fabric and the sewing factory results in clothes that are softly tailored and relaxed.
ECOVERO™ is a cellulose fibre that has been made from ethically sourced wood pulp. The technology developed by Lenzing™ ensures water impact and CO2 emissions are reduced by up to 50% compared to other wood pulp fibres like viscose. The fibre is also biodegradable and fully traceable.
In this fabric the ECOVERO™ is combined with linen. The ECOVERO™ gives drape, the linen adds to the texture. The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Once spun the yarn is woven in a crepe weave pattern to create extra texture. Then the garment is sewn and finally finished by sand washing for an even softer feel.
The garments are sewn by one of our oldest suppliers in China. We have worked together with Rita for more than 15 years on developing beautiful styles with fine detailing. It continues to be a wonderful experience working with such an excellent supplier.
