Fibre
Our wool is supplied by Südwolle, a family-owned German company that has specialised in spinning wool since its foundation in 1966. The wool fibres are sourced from merino sheep in Australia and South America.
Fabric
Our garments are knitted from the finest quality pure merino wool, prized for its exceptional softness and naturally comfortable feel. The wool can be dyed at different stages of production, either by dyeing the fibres before they are spun, known as top dyeing, or by dyeing the yarn after spinning. We prefer to use top-dyed fibres, as this process creates beautifully nuanced mélange colours and an enhanced, softer hand feel. We work with a fine yarn count, twisting multiple strands together to create a thicker, more substantial yarn for heavier-weight knitwear. Each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment, reducing yarn waste. The panels and trims are then attached using a hand-linking machine, resulting in a beautifully finished, premium quality garment.
Factory
The garments are knitted in a small factory near Bangkok, Thailand. Established by our long-term partners and equipped with an in-house laundry, the factory specialises in garment finishing with an exceptional hand feel.
