Each year, 8 billion pairs of tights are produced, worn once and then discarded, making hosiery women’s biggest wear-and-tear clothing item. Swedish Stockings are designed to last longer and are produced from recycled materials and natural fibres. Its factories only use responsible production processes and renewable resources. Through its recycling programme, it collects old, discarded tights and turns them into designer tables. The life span of the tables adds years to the total life cycle of the hosiery.
