Fibre
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Fabric
Our heavier weight woven linen fabric has a great drape and natural cooling properties. Once spun the linen is délavé-dyed, which gives the fabric a beautiful uneven texture and enables us to create unique colours. It is woven in 2/2 twill structure which creates a nice drape and extra flexibility. When looking closely one can see fine diagonal lines running across the fabric revealing its twill weave structure.
Factory
We have been working with our partners based in China to develop this fabric all the way from the yarn to the finished product. We have been working with Cong and Sunny since 2014 and they have been specializing in linen textiles for generations. Their innovation and impeccable quality mean we can bring our ideas to life and develop special woven fabrics using all-natural fibres.
