These slim, straight-leg jeans are made from Japanese selvedge denim, a traditionally woven denim with a touch of elastane for ease of fit. In a deep indigo wash with five-pocket styling and contrast colour stitching.

Fabric
Selvedge denim is traditionally woven denim on a narrow-width loom with a distinctive self-finished edge in a contrasting colour. It is a special type of denim because when woven a single weft thread carefully and more slowly than conventionally travels from one side to the other side of the cloth without ever being cut, which ensures quality and creates a distinctive selvedge. In the garment this selvedge is uncut and features as a special detailing on the straight side seam of the jeans. The jeans have been rinse-washed which means the fabric and colouration if left nearly unchanged.
Factory
The garments are sewn and finished in Turkey. We are happy to have partnered up with an excellent laundry that uses environmentally-friendly denim finishes.
