We've used premium Japanese indigo-dyed denim for these jeans and added a touch of elastane for ease of fit. In a slim and cropped straight-leg with classic five-pocket styling and contemporary details including a ticket pocket with contrast selvedge detail and contrast colour stitching.

Fabric
Selvedge denim is traditionally woven on a narrow-width loom, creating a self-finished edge often highlighted with a contrasting colour. It is a special type of denim because, during weaving, each weft thread travels carefully and slowly from one side of the fabric to the other without being cut, resulting in a cleaner construction, exceptional quality and the characteristic selvedge edge. In the garment, this selvedge is left uncut and showcased as a considered detail along the straight side seam of the jeans. The jeans have been rinse-washed which means the fabric and colouration if left nearly unchanged.
