Our crinkle linen and cotton fabric is light and textured, ideal for any summer wardrobe items. The textured surface creates air pockets making the fabric cooling and comfortable to wear.
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres. The cotton used for this fabric comes from China. Once spun the yarn is dyed in beautiful solid colours and woven in a spacious weave structure. As the yarn is uneven and encouraged to move it creates a lovely vertical bark-like texture across the cloth. Once the garments have been sewn, they are finally washed for a softer feel.
The garments are sewn by one of our oldest suppliers in China. We have worked together with Rita for more than 15 years on developing beautiful styles with fine detailing. It continues to be a wonderful experience working with such an excellent supplier.
