The beauty of our fine-gauge silk and cashmere knitwear lies in the combination of fibres - the cashmere gives softness and warmth whilst the silk adds drape as well as comfort against the skin. Perfect for creating luxurious layering pieces in smooth jersey-stitch and rib-stitches.
The silk and cashmere fibres are 'top' dyed before being spun into yarn. This process results in beautiful melange colours and a softer hand feel. Once spun, each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment which therefore creates less wastage. Panels and trims are then attached using a hand-linking machine, resulting in a premium, high-quality garment.
Made at a small factory that specialises in fine-gauge knitwear, our family-run supplier is based in the Zhejiang province of China, an area which has specialised in silk textiles for thousands of years. We have been working closely with Jerry and his team since 2012.
