Fibre
Silk is a filament fibre which means the fibre length is very long. This is why silk is both softer and stronger than all other natural fibres. Our premium-quality silk is sourced and spun in China.
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow, making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Fabric
The beauty of our silk and linen knitwear lies in the combination of fibres, the silk adds luxurious softness whilst the linen adds structure, creating a premium yarn that is smooth and sophisticated. Perfect for layering styles and elevated basics. The fibres are 'top' dyed before being spun into yarn. This process results in beautiful melange colours and a softer hand feel. Each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment which therefore creates less wastage. Panels and trims are attached using a hand-linking machine, resulting in a premium, high-quality garment.
Factory
Our supplier is based in China, in a small factory that specialises in fine-gauge knitwear. We have been working closely with Jerry and his team since 2012.
