Fibre
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Our cotton is grown in the USA.
Fabric
In one of our most distinctive fabrics sturdy linen and cotton is woven in a velvet weave traditionally associated with silk. The result is a practical fabric with a slightly coarser texture, yet it retains the characteristic velvet pile and lustrous sheen. The fabric is soft to the touch, breathable, and exceptionally comfortable.
Factory
We have been working with our partners based in China to develop this fabric all the way from the yarn to the finished product. We have been working with Cong and Sunny since 2014 and they have been specializing in linen textiles for generations. Their innovation and impeccable quality mean we can bring our ideas to life and develop special woven fabrics using all-natural fibres.
