Fibre
The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow, making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Silk is a filament fibre which means the fibre length is very long. This is why silk is both softer and stronger than all other natural fibres. Our premium-quality silk is sourced and spun in China.
Fabric
Our silk and linen blend is a medium-weight fabric with an excellent drape. It beautifully combines the natural characteristics of linen with a touch of the luxurious sheen of silk. Once spun the yarn is dyed in beautiful solid colours and woven into fabric. The garment has been sandwashed to achieve a soft hand feel.
Factory
The garments are sewn by one of our oldest suppliers in China. We have worked together with Rita for more than 15 years on developing beautiful styles with fine detailing. It continues to be a wonderful experience working with such an excellent supplier.
