Fibre
Organic cotton is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) from the organic fibre source to the dyes and fabric. GOTS is the leading standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria and is backed by independent third-party certification. Our cotton is grown in India and USA.
Fabric
Our 100% organic cotton jersey fabric is made in Portugal. The jersey fabric is incredibly soft with a smooth surface. As it is knitted in an interlock stitch, the fabric feels the same on both sides and is more resilient than typical jersey fabric. The styles are garment dyed which means applying colouring after the garment has been sewn. This allows us to dye only the amounts and colours we know our customers like. The fabric has been enzyme-washed which is an environmentally friendly process to reduce the chance of pilling.
