Fibre
Our cotton is grown in the USA.
Fabric
Corduroy is made by weaving extra sets of fibres into the base fabric to form vertical piles, creating a soft and versatile fabric with its distinctive soft ridged texture. Corduroy has a long history: first created in ancient Egypt, later adapted by the British monarchy and rediscovered by 1970s bohemians, it remains one of the most loved natural autumn/winter fabrics. Once the fabric has been woven, cut and sewn into garments, each piece is washed to enhance its softness and create a more relaxed, casual appearance.
Factory
We have been working with our partners based in China to develop this fabric all the way from the yarn to the finished product. We have been working with Cong and Sunny since 2014 and they have been specializing in linen textiles for generations. Their innovation and impeccable quality mean we can bring our ideas to life and develop special woven fabrics using all-natural fibres.
