Fibre
Our organic cotton is grown in India, solely on organic farms that take care of the soil, ecosystem and people by relying on biodiversity and local natural cycles. Organic cotton is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) from the organic fibre source to the spinning of the yarn. GOTS is the leading standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria and is backed by independent third-party certification. We are working on extending the certification to cover the entire textile supply chain.
Fabric
This organic cotton yarn has been spun with an extra twist for added textured effect. When knitted in a garment it creates a soft and dry hand feel. Yarns are dyed before knitting the garment which gives them solid even colouring. Each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment which therefore creates less wastage. Panels and trims are attached using a hand-linking machine, resulting in a premium, high-quality garment. Yarns are dyed before creating the fabric which gives them solid even colouring.
Factory
Our supplier is based in China, in a small factory that specialises in fine-gauge knitwear. We have been working closely with Jerry and his team since 2012.
