Fibre
Silk is a filament fibre which means the fibre length is very long. This is why silk is both softer and stronger than all other natural fibres. Our premium-quality silk is sourced and spun in China.
Fabric
Our habotai silk is a breathable lightweight fabric woven in a plain weave structure. The type of fabric originates from Japan and was used for silk lining or in kimono making. Once spun the yarn is woven into a fabric that is digitally printed with our unique designs. The silk garment has been sandwashed to achieve a soft hand feel.
Factory
The garments are made by our supplier in China region where silk has been produced for thousands of years. Huzhou city where the factory is located is often called the “hometown of silk” as it is considered to be one of the birthplaces for silk cultivation and still produces one of the best quality silks in the world.
