Fibre
TENCEL™ Lyocell is known for its innovative closed loop production process. Wood pulp is transformed into cellulosic fibres, while more than 99.8% of the solvent are recovered and fed back into the loop, resulting in close-to-zero wastage. The wood used as raw material for all TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres is sourced from certified (FSC® or PEFC certification*) or controlled wood sources. TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibres are certified as biodegradable and compostable** Our kapok fibres are grown in Indonesia. Kapok fibres are natural, silky fibres derived from the seed pods of the kapok tree. Kapok floss is hydrophobic and lighter than cotton. A feature of kapok fabric is the presence of small kapok seeds, seen as brown flecks in the material. Harvested from fast-growing, low-input trees without the use of fertilizers or pesticides, kapok fibres are environmentally friendly. Our cotton and wool has been grown in Australia. *FSC® (FSC-C041246) or PEFC (PEFC/06-33-92) certification **LENZING™ Lyocell standard fibers are certified by TÜV AUSTRIA as biodegradable in soil, freshwater and marine environments, and compostable under home and industrial conditions. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG
Fabric
This lyocell, kapok, cotton, and wool fabric is both unusual and playful. Differently coloured stripes intersect to create a small-scale check, while the herringbone weave structure adds a subtle diagonal pattern. It is light and soft to the touch, whilst also warm and comfortable. The fabric has a lively texture, thanks to the small amount of interwoven elastic thread.

This style is made by our Chinese supplier, who specialises in producing fabric and clothing using kapok fibres. Their expertise in working with natural materials ensures both comfort and sustainability in every piece.
