We chose to work with Pep Monjo because of the respect for every part of the process and the perfectionism he strives for. Pep works from sketches to final product with a small group of skilled shoemaker craftsmen to create a shoe that is timeless, elegant and comfortable. Pep Monjo is not only a pattern maker, he participates in manufacturing and is an expert in leather. He gives his shoes a unique and avant-garde personality, with muted colours and recurring details being characteristic features of the brand. The flax used to make our linen is grown in France, where the flax plant needs minimal water, energy, pesticides, and fertilisers to grow, making it one of the most naturally sustainable fibres.
Fabric
The heavy-weight laundered linen is one of our most unique fabrics. The fabric is woven by using unusually thick linen yarn which gives the fabric a great drape and long-lasting structure. It is ideal for summer trousers and shorts. The styles are garment dyed which means applying colouring after the garment has been sewn. This allows us to dye only the amounts and colours we know our customers like. Our garments are pre-washed for a relaxed and laundered appearance.
Factory
The garments are made in Portugal by our supplier with whom we have worked for almost 10 years. Carla is always forthcoming and expert in her field, always a pleasure to work with.
