In a doubled-sided cotton, which means the inside is as lovely as the outside, this neat, boxy fit jacket has a ribbed collar and a buttoned placket. With full length sleeves which can be turned back to show the contrasting colour and two patch-pockets.

In a combed cotton yarn that has a soft and warm handle which feels almost as soft as our cashmere but with the coolness of cotton.
We use the yarn in a variety of stitches, in particular rib stitches and moss stitch, to make lovely sweaters, cardigans and knitted jackets.
The combing of the cotton yarn removes impurities and the shorter fibres leaving long, straight fibres which are even and aligned. The result is a yarn that is softer against the skin as well as stronger and longer lasting.
To further enhance the yarn, the fibre is 'top-dyed' before being spun. Top-dyeing enables us to produce melange colours as well as giving the yarn an even softer hand feel.
The knits are produced in close collaboration with one of our longest standing suppliers, a small knitter based in Hong Kong. We have enjoyed working with owner Robert and his dedicated team, Ann and Carmen, for over 20 years. Their knowledge, experience and attention to detail is second to none. The factory has recently been audited as part of our Fair Wear membership. We are proud to have them as part of our team.
From January 2022 all our combed cotton will be certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the leading standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent third-party certification of the entire textile supply chain.
